For RenCenter, Paul has utilized his years of small business ownership to develop an approach to program curriculum that is practical, intensive, collaborative and successful for thousands of students and graduates. Paul has facilitated programs and business case studies for the Presidio Executive Program – a five-month weekend residency in sustainability management. Paul has worked with the Executive Director to provide program design and "train the trainer" sessions for 2008-2009. PTA provided in-depth assessments for business training organizations in microenterprise training, loan programs, business incubation and consulting service.
PTA designed and delivered a unique three-month training program for all retail and food sales staff in both stores. The training included a unique 3-step process of external observation, product content education and direct customer engagement.
PTA has worked with the Board of the Executive Director and Program Staff to facilitate the annual Board retreat and help implement new program directions for the following year.
PTA has provided in depth staff training for managers and key senior employees on work process and time management issues. PTA also designed and presented an eight week course on Business Planning to New Émigrés for Small Business Loan Program and has provided one-on-one consulting advice to individual business loan program recipients.
Paul was invited to Kingston, Jamaica by the TIC at the University of Technology for a ten day consulting contract. Paul facilitated a full staff retreat, coached their incubator manager and tenants, and taught a staff workshop on time management and customer service.

The Entrepreneur Center in San Jose is a public/private partnership for specific services to small businesses and non-profits. Under contract with the San Jose Redevelopment Center and the Small Business Administration, PTA completed an in-depth analysis and audit that was presented to the San Jose Client Counsel for approval and funding.

Working with a PTA team and many San Jose based professionals; we were able to understand, assess and evaluate all key offerings and provide next steps for the Center. The City Counsel of San Jose approved the report and funded the Center for an additional two years.
